Had the plastic lock that mcguyver talked about on the hose break on the hose side on one of my source hydro packs
Got a new bladder, new hose, new mouth piece, a cleaning kit for free to replace the broken hose, shipped overnight. it was the 3L bladder that fits the ryder pack. Pro tip never buy civilian models of anything when a choice is possible. Customer service for the tactical grade stuff is worth it.

Source with the bite (and not twist) valve all the way. Easy to clean, easy to dry, durable, no taste to the water, removable hose/drinking tip... They also sell inline filters when using untreated water.
Source is superior or every good way possible.
