@Kos-Mos: Yes, 1 micro swithc+1 selector swich(middle position=safe)...
But as I remember V7's semi auto works half 'mechanically'. So I think it can't bypass so easy...
I have an AEG wizard, and planed it so:

If it won't work; I have to do this:

So mates; what do you think? Does the first plan works... or not???

I know... I planned grass pattern, but that brush-stroke looks better.
One more spray-resin layer, and rought surface treatment needed...

Maybe your next project could also be a Bullpup M14, one using the Rogue chassis.

This is my CQB-16 Rogue conversion.

I question the durability of this gun...as in....won't it break easily when it gets hit?....

but other than that....that is a gun that is....just plain cool!

Laminate is much more stable than ABS.
High tech cars, sail boats, and airplanes also made from laminate, not from ABS.

I am not familiar with your fire unit...

Is there 4 or 5 wires? If only 4, it probably won't work.
If 5, you need to open the unit to find what battery pole is connected to all (there is always only one of the two connected...). You need to wire the OPPOSITE side to the auto OUT of your fire selector, the trigger wire to the IN of the fire selector and the 5th wire (signal) to the semi selector. That way you simply bypass the whole unit for auto-fire, and go through the normal operation of the unit when on semi.

You can also use the stock trigger system with a basic FET and some fiddling of the internal switch in the mechbox.

Rought surface finished:

Here the differnece(polished brown, rought surface, simple spraypainted):

I sprayed resin on painted base, before drying I sterw sugar on it. After drying I put it in water, water resolved the sugar... the surface remainjs rough.

I have a lot of other things to do, and some problems occur:

-The inside parts of the trigger system are too high (so the bolt under the barrel didn't fit into the stock)

-I have to fix the rubber stock-end with screws(if I simply plug in it may fall off)
