I know that this is not military gear but I use mechanix gloves for airsoft, work and working on the car. They come in xsmall. Very snug as well so no movement inside the gloves. Also I think there is a green set of them. And they are cheap I've seen them on sale for $10 at Can Tire.

Actually, you're not alone.

I've seen a bunch of people use Mechanix gloves... I think it's the little light on the back of the hand that everyone likes.

At least I think it's nifty.

I have a pair of the EB Oakley replica gloves. I haven't work them gaming, but have worn them as motorcycle gloves several times. They fit well and are comfortable and cool. How durable they are in the field, I don't know.

TAG Plate carrier - will fit down to her size, however it covers her entire upper body.

TAG MOLLE Chest Rig - works extremely well, however the straps would have to be cut or rolled up as there is lots of extra

ATS Plate Carrier - works well, again though really long straps

HSGI Weesatch - not bad however it hangs a bit to low

HSGI DACH - fits really well

ATS Low Pro chest harness - fits really well

TAG Gladiator - fits pretty good for hieght however a touch loose through the waist area

I was just about to suggest the Wee.

I believe she may have better luck with the HSGI Woo (no internal magazine pouches). It'll fit better when fully loaded. Actually, I'm considering swapping to a Woo myself.

@ Surebet - Does your girlfriend want WANT a vest or a chest rig type setup? Australian tactical nylon manufacturer SORD makes a really small chest rig called the MFF (military freefall) and it is really small.

Military Moron review here

Product page here

I'm 5'8", I use it for milsim paintball and I think its great for anyone my size and smaller. Coupled with anything you can hook up to the blast belt and drop leg rigs, there should be more than enough pouches - and weight - to deal with.

Arise!

Some time has passed and with a couple of hectic semesters, no vest has been purchased though the rest is pretty much bought.

She's going to stick with the P90, so I'm looking for a solution to carrying 6 mags and water.

Either something along the lines of the KISS rig from CPgear in black or a zipped vest kind of like what 5.11 has, but smaller.

Halp?

This might be a bit out there.. but what about something old school like this for those P90 mags. Just mounts on a belt.

I ordered one from Ebay for my thompson.. 16 bucks shipped.

Also, have plate carriers been ruled out? I'm pretty sure a large chest wont matter if you use soft plates...unless she has huge boobs...

So the hydration carrier jump bag didn't work out, eh?

Or...more seriously...SKD AK rig? It can fit 6 AK mags...got to hold a couple P90's...plus MOLLE-estate...so room for snack/goodies pouches (and tac stuff).
