Anyone else having trouble with Hicapa CO2 mags?

Had a KP06 here that would light strike its magazine. I tried a gas mag and it works perfectly. The gun will work with gas mags, but not co2.

Now I just got a brand new KP05 and it has a co2 magazine. It will not cycle with the co2 magazine. I tried a gas hicapa mag and it works perfectly.

Is there a batch of bad KJW co2 mags out here now? or does anyone know what is the problem with these 2 guns?

Maybe you have a weak hammer spring. Co2 mags seems to have heavier flow valve due to the higher pressure, so I assume a weak hammer spring won't have the punch to press it.

That's weird seeing as I have more problems with gas mags than the CO2 mags. I've tried the mags in other pistols and they were giving me trouble too. Thinking it might be problems with the mag run

You might just have a dirty flow valve. Just take it off and give it a good cleaning. I've done this with Glock mags before and it fixed the problem. Use an ultrasonic cleaning machine, that will work best.

I'm on my 3rd CO2 mag for my KP-05. They all started great, then lost their power over the next couple of months, giving me only a couple of shots before failing to cycle the slide. I have no idea what causes this, I will try replacing the valve (just got replacement valves from KJW) and maybe cleaning the old one in an ultrasonic, thanks for the tip.

I only have one CO2 mag functional at the moment.

Like others have said CO2 mags/valves require a lot more force to open.

I finally got a chance to replace the CO2 valves. KJW has shipped a new version:
[IMG]URL=http://s242.photobucket.com/user/shafror/media/Airsoft/IMG_1300_zpsafd185c1.jpg.html][/IMG]

The new version (with the white oversized seal under the screw) is on the right, the old one (small transparent seal that fits inside the valve body) is on the left. Sorry for the crap picture...

Compared side-by-side, the new version has a slightly taller 'head' - or whatever the part that knocker hits is called - resulting in stronger blow-back action. So much stronger, in fact, that the mag falls out - but I'll address this in another thread, just to stay on subject.

One out of the 3 valves I ordered appears to be defective: when CO2 capsule is inserted, gas vents out in seconds from the top of the mag. Lubricating it didn't help. Still, 2 out of 3 isn't bad, I now have my old mags resurrected.
