USMC Kabar

I'm actually creating myself a USMC Kabar (picture) and I only have the handle done yet and I was wondering what material should be used for the blade. I want it to be relatively usable during games, that's why I'm not using metal.

Another otion could be buying some plexi-glass.. use a dremel tool to cut it into te appropriate shape, and krylon paint.

Plexi can be pretty sharp too, and it's hard.

If you wanted to be really safe, I'm sure you can find a strip of rubber that could be carved into a blade with a tang that you could fit into the handle. If it's semi-rigid it'll hold it's shape, but bend and give way if there's a poking or falling incident...

Wouldn't know where to get it though...
