Hey Brian,
I have a player who wants to play a medic. He wants to know if their are specific rules for medics? Are medics regular soldiers with med kits, do they use weapons? What about allies or Axis, do they have the same rules for medics?

Take care, 5kull

No specific rules for medics, but the standard rules have room for persons playing that role

Looking forward to this game, its gonna be my first ww2 experience and I plan to be geared correctly.

Question: Not sure if I have seen any replies about snipers. Will they be allowed? I'll buy the G&G Kar98 CO2 and they make 2 different mags for it.

I can be very happy using the 350fps one with no scope but if its allowed i'd like to use the 450fps with a scope from time to time.

Get the 450FPS one. The temperature at that time of the year will probably decrease the FPS anyways.
And of course snipers are allowed.

I have a question regarding boots for my impression. I read somewhere, can't find it anymore, that boots need to be period correct for the game. Do I have to be very carefull when buying boots?

Per example, Fallschirmjager reenactors often use Canadian 80's boots because they look similar but not exactly the same as the orginal. Heer players will use East german boots for the same reason. So do I need to buy reproduction boots or is "similar" good enough for an impression?

Take care, 5kull

"Similar" is fine... they just need to look the part. Nothing worse then seeing a great impression and then looking down and seeing them wearing tanned desert boots.

Site looks good Brian. With the amount of effort you're putting in to this I'm sure it's going to be a complete success.

On a side note, I need to be spoonfed here. I've seen somewhere a link on google maps of the field location. I'm trying to plan my itinerary while there and can't find the field lol. Going to be flying in on the Thursday and want to have a definite plan of action with hotel close to field etc.

Closest town to the site is spencerville, but there is not hotel/ motel there to my knowledge.

of you are flying in to Ottawa, then you can stay in Nepean, the site is about 30 minutes away from Nepean.
