TM Hi-Capa 5.1 / SFA project

Coming with the first post on here with hours on end of looking up parts. Didn't go to get AV'd yet. My brother Shirley aka Mr. Hitman is helping me out a little bit with this build (more so like asking him if this part was good to get or no).

What I plan to do with this build is to game and hopefully shoot competitively if CAPS is still going on. Any other recommendations will be looked into for you other hi capa builders. I know ILLusion has been pretty busy but parts are attainable.

INTERNAL

Action Aluminum Cylinder Bulb
NINE BALL Recoil Spring Guide Set
Shooters Design POM Cylinder Set
Shooters Design 150% Recoil & Hammer Spring Set
Shooters Design Sear Spring
Lightweight BBU

Shooters Design Steel Chamber for Marui Hi-Capa / M1911 ( M1911A1 Original )

Shooters Design 5 inch Steel Outer Barrel Straight for Marui 1911A1 ( Black )

I don't know why still have some guy use the Shooter Design Slide. They are pretty bad.
Internal size is not fit

I'm using shooter design frame, from old stock. The measurements work OK with Airsoft Surgeon parts.

Hey guys, I've installed most of the parts. I'll post up pics here and show your pistols thread when I have taken them.

1. The bushing was a bitch to take back out of the SD slide. Lubed it for now but will dremel the slot a bit more so the bushing can slide better.

2. Sights slots on the SD slide aren't direct fit with original TM sights, had to mod the AIP to fit + find a screw to hold it with the BBU

3. My nozzle return spring isn't strong enough when I pull the nozzle, I'm guessing the oring on the piston of the BBU is still new and need breaking in?
(I've already lubed with silicone and it just feels like the oring may be a bit big ). Which means I'm assuming I want a stronger spring It still works though!

In conclusion it feels great, much better than a plastic slide. I feel like I can keep this pistol and have fun with it and not worry about it breaking.
