M16 to M203 upgrade

I'll just put it bluntly. I want to turn this CA M16A4:

Into this M16:

And I'm willing to spend what's needed to make it possible.

Now, as said above, this is a Classic Army, and I've heard some modifications won't fit.

My primary concern is getting the heatsheild to work, how I'm going to actually get it on there, what I have to buy to make this work, where I'm going to buy it at, and how I'm going to get it knowing some items cannot be purchased at will.

Help is greatly appreciated.

You mean like an M16A1 with triangle grip?

Well without the straight style mag. I'm not sure if that style of heatsheild is still used today amongst military M16's, but the heatsheild is the most important thing I'm trying to replicate.

Edit: No, not the top one, but much like that. I'm trying to get the heatsheild and the M203, that's the key part, and I'm wondering how it works (IE: is it all one piece?)

The straight mag was from the a1/vietnam era. In airsoft guns the receiver should fit both types. You can also get 200 rnd highcaps in the straight style.

The mags aren't the issue. It's the entire front end I'm after.

I should probably change the title of the thread, I just read that style of heatsheild was incorporated on M16/M203 combinations in the 70's.

Guys, like he said, I think he just wants the grip with integral M203 attachment, or heatshield. Not an M16VN

Yeah. Sorry for the confusion, I'm just trying to get that whole front end, that's the real key. And my aim is to get it all as one piece but I'm questioning what exactly I need to get.

I hope by others they mean CA too. And unfortunately I can't just up and buy that at a whim without it being seized.

I kinda wanna avoid having to get the barrel and such as well. I'm merely trying to get the heatsheild and according M203.

Kook, the heatshield is seperate from the launcher. TM is the only one that uses shotshells. Sun Project,CA and some others use the 40mm type. Don't use RIS/RAS mount.

I have that style launcher on my ICS M16A3. Fitment was no problem.
