protruding gas valve causes gas to release when inserting mag

the mag valve on right protrudes a bit further out relative to the back of the bag, so when it's being inserted into the magwell, it presses on it and releases a tiny bit of gas.

is there a way to tighten it so it's less protruding? can't seem to find any key wrenches for it.

I don't believe that's a thing...

Has it always been like that? If the one on the left is the same brand/make as the right that could indicate something has broken on the right.

Any chance you can take it apart to inspect the o-ring and the compartment that houses the spring? You may need to if that's the only way to stop it from protruding anyways. First time i've seen that happen.
