Thought this was relevant to the 'mag changes can be fast on a bullpup' debate.

Although I do concede that some speed reloads on conventional rifles can be faster, the Chinese soldiers in this video are pretty damn good at their reloads. I would daresay that this could beat out most other reloads done by similarly trained operators using conventional layout weapons.

The whole video is pretty cool and I suggest you watch it all but if you want to see the reloads, there are two starting at around 1:15 and 1:25.

Heh, now where did you get your copy of the Magpul Dynamics thesaurus?

Nothing says how much or how little a Military cares about it's soldiers like the footwear it gives them....

Those are training shoes, much like the PT gear the CF uses on training nights. It's impractical to wear boots all the time, so they use the more comfortable runners to train.

Deployed soldiers get actual boots:

I had no notion that those shoes were worn into combat or field training, but they still look to be low quality. Having seen a few pairs of Chinese issue boots, I'd be surprised if the runners were any good.

Regardless, this isn't a debate I'm going to get into for many reasons, foremost being this thread isn't about Chinese shoes, it's about Bullpups :P

Ennh, fair enough. Do be aware though that there are lots of repros of Chinese Kit circulating the everywhere as well, so don't make assumptions on legitimate PLA Surplus based on an ACM clone of an ACM shoe.

Anyway,

Bollpeps

New Real Sword product maybe? Please?

I feel the need to correct you, EVERYONE knows it's not bollepeps. It's Bilpopz.

Always did like those Type 97, considering buying one real steel.

I never liked the battery solutions on the airsoft though, if they could re-design that, I'd be all over it, but that suppressor is super sexy on that :P

I have a Type 97, and this is not one of them. Compare it to my rifle above.

It's a Type 05 Submachine Gun, used by PLA Navy and Marines, and some Air Force elements.

Plus, battery space on the QBZ-97 isn't even that big of an issue. RS makes nice custom batteries, and you can fit G&P (Intellect) 7.4v and 11.1v Lipos in there, depending on model.

Compared to P90 and AUG, the battery solution for a 97 isn't as easy a solution though. I prefer ease of use over finding a specific solution.

If this Type 05 has corrected this, I'll likely grab one

The Type 05 doesn't even exist in Airsoft form...

Must have misread. Thought you meant RS announced one.

So is it just an SMG based on the same system as the Type 97? Like in 9mm or something?

I said I wanted RS to announce one.

And it's an SMG that fires another Chinese round, the 5.8x21mm DCV05/DAP92 subgun/pistol round.

The QCW05 shares no chassis similarities with either the QBZ95 nor the export QBZ97, and is only based loosely on the latter's ergonomics to make it an easier platform switch from the 95 to the 05.
