This thread needs some more life! I wanna see the best of the best of the ACR's out there! here are my two babies. they are basically naked in this pic but ill get some up all decked out later.

so come on get those cameras out. i need some more ideas for my stuff and hopefully some of you will get some ideas from mine.

Speaking of AKM's, I swapped the lower receiver for a ACR lower receiver. Sorry if I left the AKM club

How about a real size PTS handguard modified to fit an A&K ?

The PTS upper receiver is longer then the A&K, so I drilled two holes & added some pins to allow the PTS handguard to lock onto the A&K receiver. The pins are some old shelf supports from an IKEA shelf that I cut down to be flush with the outside of the handguard, super glued into place. (Furniture for my furniture

)

Edit : first go at adding rail & re-shaping handguard to allow the sight to be mounted further forward, (needs some more tweaking)

Bored and had some black paint.
Added a little more PTS to my A&K. Outer barrel comprised of A&K CQB barrel, gas block & gas tube came from PTS SV 14.5 inch custom outer barrel(ehobbyasia) & a Crusader Tech barrel extension left over from my WE M4 project .
The barrel extension needed to be thinned down at the back to allow the gas block to slide into place (PTS barrel is much thinner), I don't have access to a lathe, so I chucked it into a drill press and used a file to accomplish this. Once in place and lined up, the block was pinned to the extension. The PTS gas tube fit after some slight alteration.

Pretty happy with this setup but tweaks are inevitable, looking to get the courage to make it weathered up.

It would be different if you had a two tone effect of a bunch of black accessories mounted, but just the grip and T-1 mount being black looks a little weird. Otherwise, very pretty.
