IS BESS BRO!
I was thinking about getting a Kraken AK47, but changed my mind.
Just went down to Army Issue Surplus this afternoon to get AV'ed.

That way, I can take advantage of what's available from members that are leaving this sport.. Hopefully there'll still be some left

Is it so hard for people to take into account what the gun will actually be used for? There is a vast difference between weekend in the forest airsoft and running around with friends at the farm airsoft. I personally own several cheap-ass Walmart guns and only play at my farm with large groups of friends, and guess what? Those guns work FINE for what we want them to do.

OP, take into account how much you will be playing airsoft and buy accordingly. If it is just an occasional event for you then it would be a waste of money to buy some pro-grade gun.

OP, please disregard the "advice" that the above post contains, he clearly (pun intended) doesn't know a lick about airsoft and is only interested in playing bb tag with his buddies.

Bob, why are you here if you are only interested in crapsoft/clearsoft? we don't care to discuss such things on this site, so it would appear that you are merely here to stir up trouble.

+1.

Seriously. Why waste money on a gun that will break? Even if your just playing with friends, the gun will break and then you wont be able to play AND you'll be out $130. Not worth the risk, in my opinion. Get a good gun, that will last. 1 good gun will be better than a couple shitty ones that you have to keep buying or repairing everytime they break.

I'm buying the Kraken as an upgrade platform, and $600 dollars later, I'll have a full metal gun with all TM parts.

Why not buy the TM for $600, and not have to upgrade it at all?

I feel that I'll have a gun that is better than a TM at the end, and plus, I can spend money over time.

No, You won't.

The reason people buy TM guns as upgrade platforms is because all other parts are made to fit TM. Sure, Clones are trying to be like TM, but they all have much looser tolerances. So, say you buy a new Modify FTK, made for TM, and try to install it on your kraken. Guess what, It might not fit right, And if it does, you might have air seal issues, and if you dont, you might have feeding issues. The list goes on and on.

I own two clones, and One TM gun.

I have spent a lot more money trying to upgrade the clones, but when i upgrade the TM? everything just fits and works like it should.
