Unhappy TM MWS GBBR Loose Magazine Problem

Hey guys,

Just joined the mws club but I've ran into a problem after trying to install a new rail system...

Currently it is hard for me to push the magazine into the rifle, I have to give it a hard slap on the bottom on the magazine & sometimes tilt it a bit towards my body in order for the magazine to be locked complete into place.

Here's a video of me try to put it in:

I think maybe I screwed in the barrel nut too tight but I've loosen it but it still has this problem.

It does lock in easily when the upper is open, but I still have kinda push hard into it, it's like I have to fight with the mag catch every time I put the mag in. Is the spring suppose to be that strong there?

Inserting mag with upper removed:

All the internals are still stock and my store's 7 day warranty is no more so I hope if anyone knows what's up with my gun, I'd really appreciate it~

Barrel nut has nothing to do with it. These are the correct mags?

If you have the magazine at max capacity, you'll run into this . Take 1 bb out before loading and it usually relieves this

Is it not visible in the videos? The mag has no bbs in it.

I went back to the shop that sold me the gun and ask one of the people there, but the guy just told me to put the magazine in harder...I didn't like that suggestion.

I think if I follow his advice I would damage some places in the long run no?

Disassemble and reassemble. Mags should go in and out of the gun freely without obstruction. This is for practical and mechanical reasons usually.

Was this problem present before you installed the new RIS?
