Good luck. The closest thing I've ever seen to Airsoft back home are my co-workers at PolarCom shooting me with Wal-Mart soft-air guns to attack me and steal my stapler.

It's hard enough to get a paintball game going there, let alone airsoft.

Well, good luck with that at least. Building a field should be easy enough-you can get land at $1000/acre, with the condition that you live there, have a business on it and buy something like 20 acres.

Talk to the guys at Yukon Paintball (Head down the Alaska Highway until you hit the Klondike Highway, then take a right) about the possibilty of using their field for Airsoft. I don't know of anybody in town that plays, but I'm not an airsofter (Although if you get something going by the time I get back to Whitehorse, and have a gun I could borrow, I'd be willing to give it a crack).

I think it'll work out. We're way smaller and more isolated than you, and we play good games every week here. Airsoft is like a virus - it grows quickly if you set a good groundwork.

I run a private group up here, you’re more than welcome to come out sometime . As far as I know there are a couple other like the small groups of friends to play together, but there are no fields to go and rent out for example. In the group I play with we play on the field I built on my private property. as far as I know there are a couple other like small groups of friends that play together, but there are no fields to go and rent out for example.
