The only thing I can think of to verify that is if we could dig up some reviews on other JG guns kept stock and see how long they stood up in the long run.
I'll see what I can dig up.

I use a JG M4 for a year now about 7 bags of bastard .20 and 4 bags of .25
it shoots 380-386 from day one and has not failed yet.

Good to know my money is being well spent. Can't wait to get mine!

Are the rails super dangerously sharp like another review warned?

The rails on mine are not sharp at all. I have heard of warnings from others to be weary about it, but I have yet to run into any issues.

Got her open last night. All I can say is, it was really interesting.

Fair amount of grease in the cylinder, next to none on the gears.
A spur gear with a bearing.
A solid metal tree trunk of a spring guide.

Will write more into the review tomorow, as it is to late this evening for me to even wishfully think I can do it.

Bah come on, you can do it lol. But yeah, I've never seen a spur gear with a built in gear, that was interesting.

I can attest to the feel of this gun, personally I love it, very tight and snug feeling.

Got mine tonight, with crono at 420 fps. This gun kick! In intimidating I would say (for a out of the box machine). Any recommandation how preventive modifcation that should be done (changing the gear seems like a most from various forum).

Thanks

RWAR!! Who are you importing these damn things through! I was going to order a VFC until it ran out of stock. But now JG! My first AEG was their 2nd or 3rd gen g36c but now thanks to G&P Im used to that higher quality. I kinda want to buy it, but then again I always remind myself that thats just 350 or so that can go towards the VFC.

Are there any metal bodies which would fit these things?

No other alternatives?

If your going to continue running the gun with the spring that come inside, I would like to suggest a propper shimming of the gears and a replacement of the current plastic bushings.
