hop up issues

OK so i bought a pro win AK hop up chamber, Guarder clear hop up set, shredder concave spacer, madbull tight bore barrel installed it in my TM AK 47and bbs are jamming with my Hicap but not with my low cap. The hipcap will feed bbs for a few rounds and then jam. What might be the problem?

Why would you assume the problem is with your hop up unit and not your hi-cap if your other magazine feeds fine?

Because the hicap was working fine before and the hop up is what is new to the equation.

meh if your lowcaps feed fine... then its not a hopup problem, its a hicap problem! ...

PS: you can always ask a friend for mags, and try to see how it feeds....

Your Lo cap magazine is still feeding fine isn't it?

When does your hi-cap misfeed? single fire? full auto?

I diegress my good man. my other hicap feeds nice i also noticed that the low cap and second hicap seem to fit alittle tight they rub against the hop up when locked in place. The bad hicap does not and i never tried full auto out of fear i would damage a part.

try full auto,

if it misfeeds in full autowith any mag), then its a hopup problem,

tell me how it goes, since I've already had some mis (feedind problem when installing a new hopup rubber

Not necessarily.

It could be the alignment of the magazine just as the OP desribed previously regading the difference in fitment between his varying mags.

Just a suggestion to still not isolate the hop-up unit just because of misfeeds during full auto usage.

true, but that was only in my particular case.... depending on the misfeeding, or the amount of bbs fired/gearbox cycle problem is different, thats why I asked for the OP to try his gun on full auto and report back...

PS: ,osfeeding problems could be cuased by so much things on as AEG... :S

Agreed!

Let's hope for the best for the OP in that the problem was only with the hi-cap!

...same here....but I wanna help someone fix their equipment, not force my style of playing down their throat.....better to make the decision by choice, not out of necessity.

indeed, I made mine by choice... hicaps were way too noisy for running, stealthiness... IMO...
