Check out sealsactiongear or Army Issue or Heros Army surplus. Let me see here OneShot Tactical... That's all that I got off the top of my head hope this helps

Voodoo Tactical (manufacture) also make that type of rig. It's real steel (American company) equipment, but not necessarily as good quality as LBT and Eagle. I got one for about $100 in Edmonton

I'm pretty sure I've seen that one at Army Issue, even though he doesn't have a picture of it on his site. I was actually going to recommend it to a friend too.

The REAL company that designed and manufactures this rig is called ESStac and the quality outstrips that of LBT and Eagle by a country mile. You can buy their products from DS Tactical out of BC.

I hate that term "real steel" even more so when applied to non weapons.

Voodoo Tactical is not what I would call legit kit, it is good for airsofters(depending on how rough you are on kit) and the casual once in awhile range shooter. I would never use that garbage for Mil use as it will fall apart. Some people may get lucky with it, but I've heard a lot of negative about it. I also wasn't to impressed with it when I checked it out in a store. Just another company that rips off a real gear companies kit and mass produces it on a lower quality scale for cheap.

Stu's rigs are solid to the point that one could use them as a blunt force instrument.

Sorry -Skeletor-, didn't mean offend you. I just see a ladder of quality: normal (low) airsoft quality like EAGear etc, bargain bin (brace your self) real steel brands like Voodoo, and then top end, real steel gear like Eagle, LBT, Blue Force, etc.

As always you get what you play for, I thought for a little bit more he could get something with better quality and is the same cut and carry. And I looked at DS's ESStac Boar rigs, and they have just a small MOLLE panel between the shoulder blades for the rigs, the link shows a entirely MOLLE covered back. http://www.voodootactical.net/p-1-mo...g-pouches.aspx This is what I had, to me it looks like what he's looking for, and I have a place in Canada he can order it from too.

BTW, -Skeletor- do you have a better term to use for gear like Eagle AND Voodoo?

Taxt, Supply Sergeant in Edmonton sells the linked to rig for about $100. I know the price isn't great but it is a Canadian store. And we all want to support local (Canadian) companies, right?

Sorry, let me rephrase the question: Instead of calling it 'real steel' gear, what we/I call gear that isn't airsoft quality, but is marketed to, and made for, people with firearms, not airsoft guns?
example: Voodoo is cheap 'real steel' gear, LBT is great 'real steel' gear, Flyye is good airsoft gear.

Let me known if I worded the question wrong again.

Sorry for hijacking your thread Taxt.

Dude, you're splitting hairs. There's "genuine" and "knock-offs."

I strongly recommend you save your money and buy authentic kit. Spend $60 on a knock off POS and it will break. Then, you'll be out $60. Spend $120 on a quality piece of kit, even though its double the price of the knock off garbage, its worth it in the long run. Major gear distributors will have a lifetime warranty. They also have quality control and inspect every piece of kit that goes out to make sure its up to standard.

If you buy the knock off brand and it breaks, you're out the 60 bucks it cost to buy it, plus shipping if you buy online, now you have to buy a new one. If you buy the authentic rig and it breaks, you're only out the money it costs to ship it back to the place you bought it for repair/exchange. If after a while you decide you don't like it anymore, just sell it.

when I first started playing, I bought a chest rig for 40 bucks on ebay. It looked cool and all but when I gamed it, it fell apart within an hour. From then on, i've taken the time to save up for quality gear that is built to take a pounding like a pornstar in a gangbang and ask for seconds.
