KWA MP7 - Outdoor skirmishable as primary?

Just how good is the KWA MP7? If the Angry Gun MP7 suppressor and >0.3g BBs are used, can it hold its own against some GBBRs??

Can the KWA MP7 even lift ammo that heavy?

I know two people who use the MP7 outdoors with great accuracy (.28's). The gun is a beast. (Stock, no extra barrel or NPAS etc)

I run .28 Bastards... thing shoots like a laser out to 100 feet +

and with the ROF ... it will raze the forest

this gun excels at close range.. but has the omph to do it's duty at field ranges as well

Yeah definitely a good bet. There is 3 or 4 guys on my team running the KWA MP7 and they love it !! One other has the MP9 and is amazed too. I do have a MP9 too as a backup to my KJW M4 and it's a beast, awesome sound too !!

I ran it as my primary at Rock the Ridge 2 this weekend in Aylesford with .30 KSC's, and it was tight as a laser out to 125', and was still scoring body hits out to 160'.

And full auto...well, it's just fun to watch peoples heads go down when she starts to bark.

Instead of starting a new thread I figured I would ask my questions here.

What upgrades to the stock KWA MP7 did you guys make to make it field ready?

While it seems that the KWA MP7 can be used for outdoor skirmish, in your opinion how would it hold up in a milsim game?

Are there any minimum upgrades that anyone would recommend to the stock version?

The KWA MP7 is fine out of the box, beside the fact that you need to lower the FPS if it exceeds the game's limit.

The Achilles heel; the mags.

They don't leak, they're gas efficient and they're easy to to load, & they hold 40 rounds.

The downer is they are a bit more expensive and a bit harder to find than the other flavors.

yah I found that about the mp9 and vector. Wish KWA would actually produce more mags! Its like they are surprised when the gun does well and start to scramble to make more.

And Danke's mp7 is flipping scary. Can't wait to run my mp9 beside you this year.

It's fun for sure. I use it in the winter for Soviet style icicle control.

The best way to deal with the mags is to pick a place you like to buy stuff from and put some on restock alert. You can get them from a ton of places overseas or in Canada.

I see mags made by KWA run about 55 dollars, and mags that are made by Angry gun for 50. Should you avoid the knock offs or are they fine?

That was the biggest down fall I read on this gun is the mags are very expensive

Reviews state the valves aren't as good on the Angry Gun mags.

I bought about 5 real-deal KWA mags at the same time I bought the gun. No problems so far.

I have a KSC mp7...and have since swapped to the A+ hopup rubber and a Ready Fighter nozzle. The hopup rubber was necessary since the stock one is very soft and absorbs oil readily. The hopup action of the A+ rubber is very good...and no issues with feeding that's not uncommon with stock rubbers.

The nozzle wasn't necessary...but I wanted to try it out. No issues.

The ratech naps is nearly a POS IMO. It's marginal and a PITA to use. A stock KSC valve or Dynamo's valve oe the low power bolt is a better option.

I've used the mp7 more than a few times in outdoor games. It's great if you're doing c&c and want to shed some weight and clutter.

The only downside is how fast you'll find your mags empty....best to stick to semi
