The bolt doesn't lock. The gun has a firing pin block. What happens is on the last round a lever moves the firing pin out of alignment with the mag valve, so no shot is fired and the gun becomes uncocked. With this type of operation, it shouldn't be affected by a stronger buffer.

On a different (or similar) note, I'd also like to know where you got that RS buffer, I'd love to increase the rof... : D

Does anyone know on the AK PMC, if there's such a conversion to run no stock?

Not yet. But WE has two more versions of their AK coming out so perhaps something will appear.

Feeling like just shaving off the block that attaches the buffer tube on then JB weld that block into the reciever.

My source is WE's AK PMC Manual, it has two different models of WE AK on it.

Problem is I don't want the folding PMC.. Looks wrong.
I'm probably just going to cut the block and JB Weld it in.

Even if I get the folding stock part, I would need to get a new reciever..

push and remove pin from this side

unscrew half the way

then holding the flashhilder and front sight and pull it out(you may have to pull harder at the first time), be careful, don't bend the inner barrel.

Shii dunno how I missed this, anyways i've already done all of the above mine is really stuck on there... I've even went at it with a hammer, removed nearly every pin in the whole gun haha, im going to have someone pull as I tap it with a hammer maybe then it'll come off lol.

Also if you guys havn't tried it yet, put your finger at the top of the trigger and bump fire it hahaha, ive been able to get of 6-7 rounds in the cold, tons of fun if your not target shooting.

I've got a noob question.

Would it be awkward to use those PMC mags on the WE74 model?

My limited understanding is that the AK74 chambers 5.56 round, while the AK47 uses the 7.63 rounds.

I think the metal mags look great on the WE74, but I'm also aiming for an accurate representation.

Perhaps there is a derivative of the 74 model that accepts the 7.63 I'm not aware of??

Enlighten me!
