If gun should I get?

Alright guys, so after some research, I've decided to buy my first gun. I've narrowed it down to these guns (BTW, I'm a newb, only played airsoft twice, but I loved it):

http://www.torontoairsoft.com/King-A...ld_p_3200.html
This is the one the guy at the store recommended, he said that with the smart charger and bbs it would be $226.

http://www.torontoairsoft.com/APS-PR...es_p_3595.html

These two guns seem pretty good too, with the battery, charger, and bbs would they be cheaper than the King arms gun? And which gun would you say is better? Plus it has Blow back, which would be kinda cool

This is another gun I saw at the store, and it's well within my budget. Do you think this is a good choice?

BTW, my budget is about 200-250 for the gun, battery, smart charger, and bbs with tax included. I know I may seem stingy, but I don't want to spend too much on my first gun. Feel free to suggest anything that might fall into that range.

I live about 15 mins walking distance from the Torontoairsoft.com store, that's why I want to buy from there, plus I like to see what I'm getting with my eyes.

aftermath kraken might be your best bet
certainly no VFC, but it's got pretty good bang for buck, most people are pleased with it as their first gun

battery and charger will be extra, but don't worry, if you get an imax B6AC you can use it to recharge literally ANY of your rechargeables, and it'll do a much better job than any wall charger too
might wanna read into lipo batteries in the noob section too, 7.4v stick lipo will not only run the gun, but it'll last forever and it's cheaper than a nimh stick battery

Thanks for your quick reply ThunderCactus, do you know any store in Toronto where I can get those guns from? I don't want to order them online, since I can go to the store and see them for myself. Plus I've had bad experiences from getting stuff online.

Nope, I live in Toronto. The only air soft store around is TorontoAirsoft, I think. Their website is http://www.torontoairsoft.com/, their store is pretty nice.

- King Arms Colt M4 $250
- King Arms low/mid cap mags (box of 5) $60
- lipo batteries x2 $25
- IMAX B6ac balance charger $40
- Also a sight, BBs, etc

^
That's cheap and stingy, but at least it's reliable.. You'll also need ballistic lenses, proper footwear, camo, load bearing equipment, etc.

No need to force him to spend $600 on a sport he's not sure he wants to get into yet =p

You only need proper footwear if you LIKE the sport and want to keep doing it
Same goes for camo and load bearing equipment. Nothing wrong with a noob playing with first game with a hicap

Agree with ballistic glasses though, it's difficult to not justify buying mil-spec rated glasses, you'll use them for everything.

Iron sights are effective enough, everyone aims by chasing their BBs their first year anyway lol
BB's, don't cheap out on, you'll want at least .25g as well

Age verified members can shop from AirsoftCanada's classifieds. It's never gone wrong for me, and I've spent far, far less than I would've paid for new.

There's another shop not to far from TA, just north of there, Maybe another 20 minute walk north.

I can't tell you where, but that's what google is for, you know.

Google Template" "Location" "Hobby" "Stores."

If you are also unsure about the sport, I'd go play at ultimate airsoft a few times before you consider "investing" into this sport.

Then I would suggest SAVING and then buying something decent. Buy once, cry once.

I've saved up some more money, I should get paid this friday. I've got about 350 now. I'm looking at the Ares G36c, Echo 1 MTC series, or the APS UAR right now. Which one would you guys recommend? I'm going to take a look at these hands-on in the store before buying. I just love the look of G36s, so I'm leaning towards the Ares.

Edit: The 350 is for the gun, battery, charger, and tax together...

Too bad you aren't age verified. Your budget would go so far
