What is absolutely the best semi auto electric sniper rifle on the market for around $300. The most important thing here is going to be quality internals and externals with close to if not more than 400fps.

Those words cannot exist in the same sentence unless you are saying that they cannot exist in the same sentence.

Oh you're in the states.

Find a G&P built M14 and you'll be golden.

You've been hanging around some of the people here too often. You can find a G&P for under 300 bucks.

or you can start with a TM M14 and then custom build it yourself.

still if you want something that you can pick up and hit the ground running, what Amos said is your best bet.

Around 300$ though, even in the US that's just enough for the gun.
+1 on the G&P M14

You could also take a look at the cyma m14, but it's like the tm, where you'll have to upgrade it.

cyma wouldn't be worth it, 50/50 whether or not it's actually compatible with upgrades, and if you don't start with a good base, you'll never have an epic rifle.

with that price range, you might have to do what I did and converted a m16 I owned into a sniper format by replacing the internals, not really a dedicated sniper, but better than the gun beforehand

Back when i had my G&G M16A3, i converted it to an M16 SPR MOD 1. It was just like the DBOYs M12 MOD 1, but obviously better. I just had the G&G M16, and threw a DBOYs MK12 MOD 1 conversion kit to it. It definitely had the right range for what i was using it for, a DMR. I even left the internals stock as well. Here's a link to a D-Boy SPR

But if you live in the states, i really suggest a classic Army M24.. even though it isn't semi automatic. If you are a designated marksman, you may as well get an actual spring BA rifle. Very reliable, if not more reliable than using an AEG. And most of the time, AEG DMR's do not compare, performance wise, with a 'Snipers' Bolt action rifle. Just my two cents.

I was under the impression the cyma was like 99% tm compatible, save like one part.

I've worked on a few, no chinese company makes 100% TM compatible guns. They just use it as a marketing ploy. Just like G&G says they're guns work in -40 degrees lol

Well, I haven't upgraded mine yet at all, and I have a new barrel and some hopup buckings and pcs nubs coming in the mail for my m14.

If you're going for a BA, you could consider a lower power BA with a twist barrel. I expect it to work very well after a few tweaks. I'm also adding a firefly to mine, but I bought it from another guy who replaced most of the internals with ASGI parts, so it should be okay for awhile. I do however want to add an airbrake of some sort or some sorbo pads or something, because the pop after each shot is pretty loud.

... putting a TK twist into a bolt action is counter productive... there's some people that don't feel shoots at 200 feet with a 450 FPS gun...

330 FPS at 200 feet the BB's going to go so slow that they'd have enough time to take out a speed loader, catch your BB, load it into their gun and fire it back.
