OT: kids will be kids, these kids look like their 14, they do stupid shit.. this is one of them. FA someone that close is bound to get you in trouble, he knew what he was doing, so let justice do it's job.

Heat of the moment, some shoving happens in CQB. What really got people pissed was that this fucking guy lied to game control about the incident and said he didn't shove anyone.

If so, This is a case of overreacting, This person who lit this kid up should have been more mature in dealing with the situation in front of him. Even if that kid burned his patch, Report it to the field staff and go from there, Also a patch costs what a few bucks?? (not worth the potential outcome of his actions in my opinion)

Even if the shooter was being trash talked or whatever, Be the better man and let it slide. It proves you are a better person than the jerk in front of you.

My opinion on this matter

We've banned people in Canada for less.

Its a bit disappointing that the official stood there for a minute with his maw gaping open wondering what to do instead of stepping in right away.

True... but then if you did take action, you too would be assaulting a minor as the shooter in this case was a minor apparently.

Weapons prohibition, community service (something that sucks), boot camp program. As for the community, perma-ban on the nutsack pulling the trigger. This doesn't cover the possibility of getting sued. You don't wanna blow it out of proportion, but you really want to send a public "WILL NOT TOLERATE, WILL MAKE EXAMPLE OUT OF YOU!" kind of message.

I am curious to know if his FPS or ROF was bumped up before hand.

Physical assault and a weapon involved, you can disable and disarm. As long as excessive force isn't used, minor or not, it doesn't matter. My friends PE teacher broke a kids arm after he hit another kid in the back with a baseball bat, no charges to the teacher.

The incident never should have happened. The whole supposed year of conflict should have been stomped out way before that point.

Expecting minors to be able to do that is counter productive. The reason they're not allowed to make "decisions" is because they're not ready.

Expecting me to go on a field as either a player or DS and to encounter a pair of little shit pumps like that is a big no can do.
