Speaking of that leg panel, are those correct FSBE II frag grenade pouches? I thought that the issued ones had the other style of clips, but maybe I've got it wrong. If those are the right ones, hell yes, I'm buying clone for sure. Not that I can even use frags, nor am I intending to purchase them, but those seem like a good spot to stash a kill rag to me.

Yannos, I believe it is a Marine guideline to have your IFAK on the right side of the body. What lanyard have you got there - Gemtech it looks like, but I just want to make sure? Also, why red tape as versus another colour?

Brakoo, how's the weight distribution of having your MAP offset to the left of your MBSS like that?

I know for sure that both lanyard are Gemtech.

As for the weight distribution with the MAP offset it's not too bad considering that the radio and IFAK in itself do have some weight to them. I won't end up overloading the MAP with a lot of heavy stuff anyway. Considering that the MBSS is a S/M and I'm 6'1 and 175 lbs it does sit pretty well on my frame so it doesn't shift around too much.

I think I've decided to just use my MBSS/PACA combination for my MEU/MFR kit. Doesn't make sense to be buying MORE rigs (clone they may be) with money I don't really have to spend on stuff I won't use all that often.

I've been seeing EI shoulder pads on MBSS's in a select few pictures. I'm wondering if Flyye or Pantac makes anything like that? I would prefer to avoid the bulky CIRAS pads, but if that's all I can get to, so be it. I was thinking that this might do it, but dimension-wise they seem a little too wide. Any thoughts?

Linky to the Flyye product I'm thinking of... click here. Pantac makes one too, I just don't have the link handy.

Pretty much finished... it's for my WIP 2009 MSOB Afghanistan setup. I'd like to swap as many of the replica parts for real ones, but right now once I get some more spare money it'll go towards a CIRAS, the MICH and VIP will be later down the line. I'm getting M-Frames ASAP though. Will probably swap the Comtacs II for Sordins though.

Other than the FROG hood and Surefire helmetlight, that's all repros unfortunately
- MICH2000
- VIP IR strobe
- Norotos 3-hole
- COMTAC II
- FROG hood
- Surefire Helmetlight
- Some duct tape
- 1in IR square velcro'd on top.

So... the frenchies did it again! Maybe not flawless (or close to) like the other fall photoshoot, but still damn awesome...

So... when & where do we do ours?

I'm thinking about picking up a Flyye MBSS actually. And I need to do some work on my MICH, but so far it has the 3 Pt. Norotos, velcro and some goggle straps. I kinda-sorta stole your buddy tape idea except I used black tape. It still needs a new chinstrap and a Surefire helmet light. Then it should be all set.

Overall for a MFR kit I've only got a few items. The MICH like I said above, some sage flight gloves, a sage CWU/P 27 flightsuit, some Bijan's, and an AITES IFAK (Stand in for an AI one).

Would you say the SDS MBITR/three mag shingle/flashbang pouch are good stand in's for their AI counterparts?

Been thinking of getting myself a Marsoc ''repro'' loadout but i don't really know were to start. I'm a newb regarding US MARINES loadout.
I also don't want to invest 1000$ of dollars for real gears as i also have A Russian load out that cost me a lot of money.

Anyone can give me a basic loadout to begin my impression?
Would want to participate in the photo shoot and not scrap it.

Btw would a maritime ciras in cb do as an armor carrier?
Thanks
I know i want to be spoonfed... but if a list exist; care to copy pasted it?
Also... darn its hard to understand all the term used in this thread! Fbe. mfr etc!!!
