did some all night review homework, seems like the tm issues are minimal to none, most causes of problems from my research were either wear and tare and it was LONG down the road from the few reviews i read or it was a lack of maintenance, meanwhile there were a few with good things to say about the we, and lots... lots of reviews saying bad things about the we. so, from that and your guys opinions, tm it is.

* now i gotta decide on my primary...*
I'm liking the new G&G line of guns, good entry level and mid quality gun lines without having to spend a bunch of money on upgrades for a while. Decent parts and compatibility, and just about every retailer stocks or carries them.

every side arm has its own issue sooner or later. TM slides are made of plastic and need replacement after a year or two. Other brands are not as high quality in some aspects.

Airsofters use and abuse them extensively in our games so adjust your expectations now. keep some extra $$ for any anticipated problem.

In terms of brand order, TM followed by WE followed by KJW. just make sure any modifications you want to make out of the box is actually possible.

I personally go for hi-capa, there are ton of parts and no licensing to make them more expensive for no good reason. I heard a lot of good things about glock but never got into it.
