Hoppe's Gun Oil. Can use it on my airsoft beretta?

I wanted to know if i could use my Hoppe's Gun Oil on my airoft beretta.
Also can i use it in the mag? Im not too sure if its silicon based... so can i use it on the gun?

Doesn't sound like silicon oil to me.

Best advice is to not use it. You can go pick up any silicon oil (or RC Shock Oil as most hobby stores refer to it) easily at a hobby store.

Depends on what you want to do. Hoppes on an airsoft gun will make your gun-doctor rich.

I prefer to use lithium grease for my gears, silicone spray for my piston. Everytime I open the gun up, or atleast every few months.

Silicone spray the hopup and dranch the barrel before and after every game. Lubing the inner barrel several times a day is nice also. (spray lube in till your sure there is way to much, then run about 30 rounds through it to get the excess lube out...inside is left coated and slightly improves performance.

spermicides are to thick to work properly, and most of the heavily scented or heat activated lubes can do more dammage then good. Anal lubes are often a bad choice also, except "Butt bandit" brand.
In turn, lithium grease, although fun in your fingers, shouldnt be used for sex lube. You would be better of using mayonaise since its "wash out of the cooch" factor is alot more reasonable then lithium greases...that and everyone loves a good tuna-fish sandwich. Silicon spray should also be avoided as a personal lubricant...unless you want your pickle to rot off.
I often recommend against jerkin your gerkin with airsoft guns. Sure, the M203 may look inviting, but sharp edges and propane residue could leave your as flacid as Regis Philbin. Humping your gun may be fun on the field, but when done naked, the cold metal and sharp RIS could shred your spunk blaster. Never use your airsoft gun internally. A G36 flash hider will tear your pooper faster then Michael Jackson. If your hard set to use a gun internally, I suggest softair. Go wild with the BBs though. Its not as entertaining as a ping-pong ball, but the 8mm can be fun. And Never use an AEG or GBB for mansex.

Why dont you get silicone oil as recommended? It's not hard to find, and it's perfect for the use.

If you can find this (I've been trying to get it for a while) , it should work.. it's called "Speed Grease", and it's manufactured by WesternArms. It's a higher viscosity oil than most silicone oils, and makes your slide blowback really nicely. I think it goes for 9.50 on UNC.

Why complicate his life? Any decent hobby store that sells the good remote-controlled cars and such has silicone oil and grease.

Even Canadian Tire has Lithium grease, and that is fine for most purposes.

Radio Shack sells Teflon lubricant. Been using it for a while, works great.
