I have the Milspec Monkey patch lol!

Oh, and as soon as a certain HiCapa retailer can confirm, happy birthday to me!

The exterior build of a 5.1 stainless race pistol. After that, slow tweeks on the internals...

I'd advise against getting that railed scope mount, that you listed there, the rail is removeable on the cmore, so just get something like what ILLusion is selling as it sits alot lower to the gun and looks more slick too!

Agreed... try to avoid rail mount optics if you can. The higher your optics are from the bore of your weapon, the more you will have to go through re-training, in order to learn how to pick up the dot quickly (the higher the sight from the bore, the more you'll have to naturally lower your grip), as well as learning how to adjust for parallax differences between near and far targets. The higher your sight is from your bore, the more you will need to compensate.

If you are very used to naturally picking up a sight picture quickly with a pistol's open sights, you are going to have a tough time learning to pick up a dot that's high off the bore. (that's advice coming from personal experience.)

That scope mount base that Pusangani linked to is made for a real CMore sight. A replica shouldn't be far off as far as fitment goes. It's a replica of the STI scope mount base, the difference being that this one has a removable/replaceable steel blast shield.

I was opting for the rail mount for many reasons
- Not sure if the clone can unmount the rail
- I'm not confident in my ability to drill the frame
- Carbon bits!!
- Red bits!!!

Maybe not the best reasons, but I want to be sure to get a mount without having to pay another 30$ for a second shippement.

When you get this, see if the rail can unmount (I have a pretty good hunch that it can) and let us know.

I'm pretty spoiled by my real CMore, so I don't think I'd get a replica, but I may consider it if I feel like changing up colours to match my outfit. lol.

I think real C-More is a relatively affordable quality sight.....~$200 vs a clone for $80...especially compare something like a real Aimpoint or Eotech......or a Irondot...

a mill would be better than a drill press so the holes are perfectly in line....but a drill press also works provided that the operator knows wut he's doing.......and Tys can do that for sure =)
