Vaseline as a gearbox grease?

Does anyone know if you can use white petroleum jelly as a grease fort lubricating your gun or piston?

Any petrolium based products will eat away any o-rings it comes in contact with. Go for pure silicone grease.

I use astroglide myself - really helps get into the tighter fit holes.

Once you trim back the bushings you don't need to use much grease at all.

I've got this product called "Gun Oil" it comes as a silicone based, water based, or hybrid lubricant (silicone + water based). Haven't done any testing though but I suspect the silicone based one might be okay to use on greengas mags.

With use, they become looser over time, though.

Your meeting is either really boring, or you really don't care to be on ASC... why stop the fun?

You sure can, but Rob's mom prefers I lube my piston with the flavored stuff.

In all seriousness though, no lol

am I the only one who actually uses lube from a sex shop on my guns? Then again, I did try to use froglube on anything just because it says its biodegradable.
