I've got something very similar to that:

It works quite well, although, it's hefty once you fully load it with mags.

Yeah I can load 8 single stack mags into it and its quite heavy. But not haveing to fumble with pistol mags makes it worth it.

I'm fairly certain that those were originally developed and used by the men who define High Speed Low Drag.

Those things look pretty high drag, imagine running with those...
I need all my gear secured very firmly to me so I can move quickly and efficiently
Although something like that would be good for people that like to walk alot
