i thought that you got extra time for using a replica....

but really id rather be held up by a airsoft gun than a real gun, the shitty thing is how do you know at the time....

I'll writeup a letter tomorrow. I've got a project to finish now.

I'm still pretty "green" though so I don't know how much help I will be of, but I'll still make the effort and you can choose to either include it or not.

5 years jail time? The retarded thing is that's more than some rape/murder victims get.

And shouldn't the concept of innocent until proven guilty mean that the crown would have to prove his intent was supplying criminals?

I don't think that applies as he already pleaded guilty. Good luck with your case.

Consider this a free bump.

Ugh. Unfortunately I don't know you in person, man...but I have not heard anything negative about you. I would absolutely write a reference letter as a regular force member of the CF, a law-abiding citizen and an avid airsofter if I had done anything airsoft related with you.

I can write on what airsoft is and my experience in it, but I don't think it helps unless it is in relation to you.

Suffice to say, this is bullshit of the highest order.

Hi

In order to try to help the situation, I beleive the defense is to make a point that airsoft is a SPORT. Then all the magazine that advertise this as sport and mil sim should help a judge understand that this is a sport pkayed on a paintball field or inside a builiding.

Also, I don't know but if this case create a situation where future court situation can be use against the airsoft community, then why not try to raise cash to fund his court battle...I don't know the guy but I feel for him. If I gave some $ to fund the ASC website, I sure can spend the same amount to try for him to beat this so that anyone of us could use that court ruling to help us down the road.

What do you think ?

I have only been a member of the community a short time and I have NO idea who will is. But as its been pointed out, this could have impact on the entire sport in our country. That being said... Good luck Will.

and +1 to Lisa, I would much rather get robbed by a kid with an airsoft gun because i can still go home to my wife and kids.

He has already plead guilty. This is about his sentencing. Hopefully he gets a good Judge who is understanding, and will go light on him. GOOD LUCK WILL.

to whom it may concern mostlikely as you won't have the judge's name or just to the crown
would probably be best
