Diemaco Tri-ad

Ok I have started to piece together my next project and that is a C7A2. What I'm currently having issues with is trying to locate a Diemaco Tri-ad rail set for the front sight post. I know that the real ones aren't available to the public so I was wondering if that was any where to get them after market, knock-off, fell of a truck etc.???

Some will pop up from time to time on the classifieds, but that's about it. CADEX makes a version of it... though A) It's not the same and B) It costs $290

you are in the wrong forum if you want such... as GS stated, go and check the classifieds, but not here, you will have better chance on AR's forum, they do show up from time to time, just need some patience...

Anyone have a photo of what one looks like? I'm going to do some conversions and I have no idea what a Demaco Tri-ad even looks like?

Tell us more about these Tri-ads you're having made. I'm interested.

Cost less to buy a real one lol. They're only worth 75 bucks. Most repro ones people are machining and selling for twice that.

well i dont have a lot of details on exactly what and how. I have taken one to a manufacturor here in Canada. They are going to scan/measure it and give me a price. he is going to call me in a few days and i will find out more details. will be cnc and not pot metal. He told me it will be built to last. thats all i got right now

it doesnt fit the standard m4 handguard. its too fat. will fit the c8 version but not m4. he said he could make it so it fit m4 and you wont notice, or make it exact to original, or, if i got enough $ he do both.

That's the army's replacement cost when you lose it I think,

$249.99 (I paid $125 for a Knight's Armament RAS)

Wasn't the one on the classifieds for 180 was is? I wanted that one so baaaad.

You're right, that's the cost when you "loose" them. People inlate the prices though because of the demand. Some as high as $250. Makes me wish we had an airsoft version of the IUR

Triads are forged, may be easier to get a die made and start mass producing these puppies with all the overseas interest.
