Kwa MK23 ussocom low fps!

Hello, does anyone know why my pistol is shooting low fps? I suspect it was the main seal so I replaced it but same result. I ordered a cylinder too but KWA list the wrong part for that gun. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

What FPS and ammo weight you using?

Have you adjusted your hop up?
Are the BBs rolling out of the barrel at all?
Is the magazine seated properly?

9The FPS is just over 140 with .25 on a freshly charged mag. I also replaced the hop up bucking thinking it was the problem but same results. The gun cycle properly no problem but I also notice that it's not so gas efficient. I'm also having similar problems with my KWA MP7.

Have you checked the BBU?

Sounds like there might be a crack with the nozzle?

If my guess is right the Socom should have a similar system to the USP/Tactical

Maybe the springs have come loose if the nozzle isn't cracked

The only other thing I can think of is the valve inside the nozzle may have been damaged if its none of the other above that I mentioned

what's the ambient temperature you're shooting in? anything under 10C will start to get increasingly greater fps loss the colder it gets. My KWA 226 would stop shooting around 2 or 3C and only spit liquid gas out.

Also kwa hopup rubbers are terrible, they swell with contact to any sort of oil and cause weird feeding and possibly fps issues. If you are experiencing this with 2 KWA products, then it's more likely it's something else unless you are THAT unlucky that BOTH BBUs broke at the same time.

I'd get a different can of gas and try that. If you're experiencing similar issues in two guns, then it stands to reason the gas is the issue. Even try a different brand altogether.

I got this gun in a trade and it's been like that ever since I got it. It's room temperature I'm shooting it in and using propane. I check the spring on the nozzle and it in place but I did notice that the hammer has a tiny indent from hitting the firing pin. I also notice that the hammer just flaps around when I fire the gun. It's not crisp as my other guns, it kinda launches forward loosely with not much spring force and stay wobbly until the trigger is reset.

Your nozzle is likely cracked/broken. That would also explain your efficiency issues.

Are you talking about the jet nozzle or the cylinder nozzle? I ordered these before and got the wrong thing but I'll do it again with an email this time.

The hammer flapping around and being very loose is normal.

Did you actually check the BBU?
As in taking it apart and visually inspecting each piece one by one via feeling for cracks and visually looking at the parts?

You can't check the high flow valve without actually taking it out of the Nozzle. That piece if broken can lead to a low FPS

If you have not done that I suggest you go ahead and do so

It is not hard just one screw and the thing falls apart

The loading nozzle. What you see when you look in the slide, and what moves back and forth.
