To avoid more confusion, it's not mine, though I kinda wish it was so I could convert it to a classic configuration.

I would agree, however the gas booster the owner has installed makes the gun work when dirty.
The gas booster from the AK-104 would look great.

It is a real Arsenal AK pistol in 7.62x39mm

Needed to floor that crappy iphone picture.

But yeah. The gun needed a lot of fiddling with out of the box to get it shooting right. But once thats all out of the way, I was getting some real nice range and accuracy out of bastard .25's. Curious how it'll run .30's. We'll find that out next week.

I should also have my POSP by then .

Looks great Strelok! I'm aiming to pick up the King Arms SVD soon so we'll see how that thing compares.

Goddamn. I guess I'll have to run typical 107 handguards until I can make a sculpt and cast in resin. This will probably take at least a year.

Finally finished the blueing. The few steel parts were given a light coat of gun oil.

Thanks Strelok! It was the blueing on your Thompson that inspired me to give it a go.

Well, I traded a member of the Manitoba Ivan's, BootYouFace, a gun for the TM AK-74MN you see there, not sure where it was purchased from although I've been directed to a couple websites by another Ivan, Slow. I'll put up links when I get home, may have come off one of those sites.

Unless there's something odd about my flora, it's fairly easy to source Flora. There's a set of pants too. It I'm currently playing "tailor" on them for some slight adjustments.

As promised, the websites:
Red Alliance (Great for all sorts of stuff) http://www.red-alliance.net/forum/index.php
Frontowiec http://frontowiec.com/index.php
Soviet Propaganda http://www.soviet-propaganda.com/

@ Gato - your rifle looks nice but already your patches are not making sense.

An old photo of my rifle.
