Anyone here use a WE MP5 gbb? Want to build an MP5SD out one and would love to hear from some users.

I have one. It's really satisfying. Cooldown is a bitch, though.

Totally agree. I think when people hear WE Tech, they think of their 1911s which were just inefficient as all hell with their heavy slides and tiny single stack gas reservoirs. Their rifles are great for budget gbbrs and can be formidable when treated right.

I have their PMM and it runs like a dream. Granted the slide is shredded but that's mostly my fault :-|

Magdump full auto, cooldown started around 15 rounds. By the end of the mag it was a thunk-a-thunk-a-thunk.

Is it that bad on semi? I don't care much for auto anyways.

Lucky dog! I missed out when they came out and shops near me haven't gotten batches. Not sure if I would order online for one. How does it feel?

They feel great! High quality and gas efficient. The store I go to sells some.

Ran one at MSW earlier this year. Upgraded the barrel and hop first. They're good little shooters and I haven't had any issues with the mags leaking, despite barely using it since. I had the MP5k version however. In semi I can easily clear a mag and a half, in full auto it starts to stagger 2/3rds of the way through a magazine.
