Need help with a swcc kit

Just looking for some information on what swcc guys usually wear. Obviously woodland bdu which I have already.

What type of helmets? I've seen mich 2000's but do they use anymore? Like IBH's or fast helmets?

What type of vests and what colour? I've seen mostly OD, tan, and I've seen some aor2. What about multicam?

And what type of weapon? Seems to be the general m4, but does anybody know if they've used m14's, mp5's or anything else?

Any help is appreciated!

No IBH.

No "weird" weapons.

Gear will be something greenish; you wouldn't be sneaking up a river in the desert.

Thank you, just wanted to be totally sure!

As for greenish gear, I have seen tan helmets and tan plate carriers...even a multicam plate carrier over woodland bdu's. If I can find the pics again, I'll certainly share.

Be careful as pictures from 2013 will obviously be very different from 2005.

MICH 2000 w/ Wilcox or Norotos; Petzl headlamps seem popular.

Vest is most commonly CIRAS (Maritime), seen it in OD and CB, also seen pics in black.

Blasters, I've seen pics with M4A1, Mk18 Mod 0, Mk16 (Mk17 ?)

Check out "Surviving the cut" it's a discovery show that follows various units, 2 episodes were done on swcc, you'll find the second of the episodes more useful as it's their advanced training and more field gear is shown. You can search it on YouTube. Also mil photos as mentioned and you can Google some swcc impressions for a possible gear breakdown.

I've been watching some Surviving the Cut. Most of the pics show guys wearing OD or Ranger Green vests, but in the show most guys wear tan or coyote brown. I'm pretty sure I've even seen multicam!

Depends on the timeframe/reference pic you're using. Their gear is definitely mission/operator specific. Sofrep did a gear thing on swcc mostly weapons/boats. If you need help identifying kit throw up the pics, but other than that you can choose one of a thousand photos to base your loadout on.

Do you know if they use anything other than maritime ciras'?

Considering the amount of time they spend on the water that vest seems like a no brainer. If you you go in the drink you've got to be able to ditch your rig fast.
