That moment someone finds your now disowned design on the internet and creates patches out of it... not sure if I should feel proud or facepalm.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Flashpoin...-/360604083419 AGAIN, A WARNING: IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT WEARING THESE ON ANY SORT OF OUTFIT YOU CAN (AND PROBABLY) WILL BE CHARGED WITH IMPERSONATING A POLICE OFFICER. DON'T DO IT. Last edited by MaybeStopCalling; April 3rd, 2013 at 12:56.. |

I'm using re-pro 'Metropolitan Toronto Police' patches on costumes for my film making but I'd rather use these since they're more generic yet visibly Canadian instead of the stars or eagles you see on other generic ones.

That guy seems to do a lot of 'In Universe' fictional patches. It's actually really neat, even like Jurassic Park game wardens, Babylon 5 units and plenty of other things.
Maybe people should just randomly email him vectors and hope that affordable patches materialize. Someone do the 'Metropolitan EMS' patch vectors from Flashpoint and The Listener, I could use some sets of those. :P |

They really came out well... I'm impressed. I'm not sure what to do with these, might put them in a picture frame with a printout of the variations it took on the design route.

If you don't mind me asking, what were their dimensions? The site says 4" but that seems like a bit large for a patch.

From quick look, they fit perfectly on ACU pocket velcro if you want to go and back them with velcro. They're the same size as the patches on my actual work uniform. Taking a ruler to them, they're just over 4 inches.

4" isn't really all that large for a patch. Although it may seem large when the patch is a circle, plenty of agencies within Canada use patches that are 4" or larger in height.

Hello Guys,
I was searching on the internet for information about the FlashPoint load-out. I saw this topic and I want to share my load-out with you guys. The only things i miss are the belt with pouches, dropleg bag and dropleg holster. But they are on the way. From the radio set i've got no photo's! I'm using this picture as a reference (but included the Stripes from Sergeant Greg Parker: I don't have the patches attached to the clothes, they are there still loose on. And this is the result so far: I've used the Toronto Police Patches instead. |

I've used that exact same 11x4 'POLICE' shoot-me sticker on my armor carriers. :P

Looks like that guy in the UK has added a greyscale version of Grey Synergy's 'Metropolitan Police' patch and the SRU patch.

The gloves look like a dead match for the Perfect Fit line of neoprene gloves. I had a couple of sets a few years back and found them to be an excellent item, especially seeing as they weren't all that expensive (the unlined "shooting" gloves were about $10 a piece, lined winter ones were less than $30).
