Silencer Logo Removal?

Hello everyone.

I have a KWC M92 model pistol. I wanted to make it look like an M9 mod from a video game, so I had to find a mock suppressor. I picked one off of the airsoftparts canada website because it was cheap and would fit the adapter I got for the end of my barrel.

My problem is that the mock 'silencer' has a very annoying and cringey logo on it, as you can see here:

http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/im...-150mm-sil.JPG

Is there any way I can take that logo off, or am I stuck with it?

I would try using paint thinner.

I find Krylon's Matt Black Camo paint will pretty much match the finish and cover the logo. I've used it to paint over scratches and chips on several suppressors and in most cases you can't even tell it was spray painted.

I'll try a mix of using some thinner then spraying that Krylon Matt black.

Nail polish remover/acetone and something to scrub it with should take that off.

Yeah or some 800-1000 grit wet/dry sand paper and a bit of water or silicone lube and go nice n gentle. most of those trades you will find are just printed on top of the black so if yer patient enough u can get em off without removing tje black

It might sound crazy, but it works, Depending on the printing, you can remove it with sugar cubes, they have enough grit to remove the silk screened text without damaging the underlying paint.

Using nailpolish remove WITHOUT acetone will be your safest bet if you want to retain the finish beneath it. If not, you can move up to some that contains acetone.

Use cotton applicators for it, and keep some very fine steel wool handy as a last resort. Use it very lightly.

Won't work on that mock suppressor. It is painted with the logo printed on it.

That video shows a USB that is anodized with pad printing. Ano is tough and sugar can not scratch it.
