That's the Propper APCU Level 5, I assume? Too bad the zippers are black

RRV is uncommon nowadays, but it works Biggest issue for me is that the Sordins should be neckband. With an helmet, it doesn't matter too much as we don't see it, but it does with the cap.
Also, the U94 is only used by JTAC as their dual-comm headsets don't have maritime plugs... everyone else uses the TEA G-Switch.

You're on the right path

It's a TAD Gear kind of PCU Lvl5

This Outfit was more like just for a game. All your mentioned points are on my to-do list

Thanks though for the input!

PS: Just sold the RRV

By last... do you mean the closest? I'm not sure. It's very similar to the Blackhawk, however the BlackHawk is a real CB and does not have this weird color.

Condor makes a copy and the colors are similar, but it has 7 MOLLE rows, this ones seems to have 6. Could be locally made and bought at the PX... locally made crap often has that big color difference.

Condor is selling a replica, but in Coyote Tan.. i would need it in Coyote Brown for USMC Grunt Display

And I don't know, but I have seen this pouch that much now.. I personally don't think it's something locally made

Here is a pic from a Marjah Marine:

PS: Conker where can I buy Rothco Duct Tape?? I can't even find it on the Rothco Website

The MARSOC Marine's pouch seems lighter than CB. And it's different from the grunt's. Notice the tab at the bottom of the flap (on the MARSOC pic) versus this grunt: the grunt doesn't have that tab.

Different brand.

But yes, they are very similar... Many companies had one like this.

Products with similar design:
- Blackhawk
- Condor
- Tactical Tailor
- BDS
???

My vote would go for Blackhawk for the MARSOC Marine (there are different sizes).

Ref the arctic trg pic from the previous page. Tactical Tailor perhaps. He even has their FRB slung around his waist.

That pic was taken in Afghanistan pugs

Actually, Vince confirmed that it is indeed a Blackhawk pouch, and the weird color being simply an older gen.

Hello. let me introduce myself. I am scnitzelmahn.

I am going into my second season of airsoft and am preparing my loadout, which will be a marine force recon loadout.

Im posting this so i can get some constructive criticism and inspire others as i work on my kit.

my vest so far:

its a flyye land ciras in CB:

1x flyye land ciras
1x admin pouch w/ IR flag (cadpat nametape shouldnt be there...)
2x double M4 mag pouch
2x single M4 mag pouch
1x medical/utility pouch (zipper closure)
1x medical pouch (clip closure)
1x Camelbak thermobak
1x electric tape
2x Chemlites (debating putting a dual pistol mag pouch there instead for speed loaders.
1x smoke grenade pouch
1x radio pouch....no radio yet so i doubt i will use it.

Trying to figure out how to sucure the camelbak hose, anyone got any solutions?

now for my headgear:

MICH 2000, Revision eyepors with RX insert, shemagh, paracord helmet band

note the electrical tape on the nape pad. I pulled of the crappy velcro because it was tearing up the nape pad itself. I donno, bit i like my helmet with the look of being repaired in the feild.

I am considering doing a light snakeskin job or something to make it a bit darker looking to go a bit better with MarPats. also might add velcro to the sides.

still need to aquire an MCCUU and some tan tac gloves...oh how id love to have some oakley SI's...but way out of the price range for gloves.

It's OK to take your chemlights out of the packaging. Don't want to be fumbling with them when you're in a pinch.

Or use some of that bright electrical tape to color code them. :P

IR chemlites are solid pink/red/purple, normal ones are clear with a coloured vile in them.

Though unless you have nv you have no real need for IR sticks anyways.
