problem with atlantic armory//cory rusk a.k.a scammer
Hey, i had bought an tm ak-47 from atlantic amory in november and had not recieved the gun because he wa snot aloud to sell them anymore.. so i told him i want my money back and he says "sure" thats it and 2 months later i recieve a $20 cheque and the gun was $500 then i told him "The gun is $500 not $20 andthen hes like okay ill send the rest then this time he sends $100 then after the $100 he is not in the rcmp and he says he is really buisy and has no access to a computer or anything.. its been 3 months since the last time he has emailed me or anything.. what should i do about this!!
and im not going to cash the cheques yet because if i do he wont have to send the rest.. pleas help me out... like who actually knows this guy in person he says his name is cory rusk but on msn his name is timmy mcdonald... |

This has been happening lately. Give the name a search. There is a reason he is no longer on the retailer list. |

Call the cops. file in small claims. there's not much you can do about him as from what I can tell he isn't welcome in the airsoft community. Even the former owner has distanced himself from him.

i have a cheque that is from him and it says its from the rcmp.. if he was in the rcmp couldn't i call the rcmp and ask for the 2 names he has and if they do get him,wouldn't they make him pay because they dont fuck around with that stuff, (its federal)
he would get in deep shit because hes becomming a officer mean while he ows many others, money for things coustomers had previously bought.. is this a salution? |

From what I understand, he shouldn't be using a cheque from the police for personal affairs. Maybe he's impersonating a cop. That in itself makes a call to the RCMP more warranted IMHO.

I would personally give a call to the RCMP, and try to figure something out.
If no luck, go to small claims, do some sniffing around on the names find out who he is.

there was also a rumour about him importing the guns ilegally. I once had him on msn and was a member at section8airsoft forums and in a conversation once i asked him how he got all his airsoft guns so quickly, he responded "well its a big plane".
Dont know if this helps. |

Ok I have delt with Cory myself. I got everything I payed for but only after I don't know how many months but that was befor he got stoped. His real name is Cory Rusk by the way. I can give you his phone number so you can call him and bug him but if you want it PM me so I know. Edit: I found that calling him and talking to him in person was the best way to fix my problem.

Wait, are you saying the Cheque isn't even coming from Cory, and that it's coming from the RCMP? Is his name on the cheque at all?!

its probably one of thoses kinds of cheques that you can get pictures on...i know TD had ones that have the RCMP horse team pictures on them....you know the kind...i used to have Toronto Maple Leaf cheques
