Post WE 4168 and WE Glock 18

Not to much about these on the internet, anyone ever shot one or know any positives or negatives about the marker? Im really interested in picking one up and mite do so next weekend. Also thinking about picking up a WE glock 18 as a secondary. As well if anyone knows any positives or negatives about this it'd be much appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure why you needed to make another thread.....

The WE 416 has been around for quite a while now there's plenty out there

Glock - Full auto pistols tend to break down much easier. IMO 17>18

To be honest. The WE G18C is an alright weapon for the price. The finish on the "metal" slide is a bit poor, almost a dull grey instead of black. The plastic frame feels a bit cheap. The internals are alright I suppose. I wouldn't use full auto but that's me personally. When it comes to pistols, WE seems to be a hit and miss situation.

As for the M416, I haven't used one, but if it's anything like my M4, then they are pretty awesome. Surprisingly, I've fired probably more than 10 000 rounds through mine and have yet to even break a nozzle. It comes down to how well you maintain your weapon.

The 416 is identical internally to the m4 only the externals are different continuous rail hk style sights and hand grip ect.

I can say after about 5k rounds now that mines holding up pretty good only major issue was i broke 2 nozzles sourced out the initial problem causing it i believe the issue is now resolved.

The trigger system is much sturdier then previous generations they've beefed everything up the earlier WE open bolts trigger parts wore out easier.

At 5k rounds everything's still really solid.

Just be sure to lube the nozzle every 10-15 mags and lubricate and locktite anything that can come loose

They're not. Its just that the forum requires you to register and sign into that forum to see their content.

Gun not marker...GUN. this isnt art class

And if you can afford the time and money into a GBBR its worth it. So much better than AEGs

^+ 100000

Plus if you can care for a Tippman marker you can care for a GBBR, its easier then the AEG lovers make it sound lol. But it is a little more costly but so much worth it, if your into realism.

haha didn't no if the forum allowed the word gun.
Moneys isn't a problem, but yea I kinda figured a gbb would run better. Do I have to clean it? an if yea is it similar to cleaning a paintball gun? thanks

@redneck12
Didn't see the other msg so ill be fine for taking care of it and cleaning it since im used to cleaning my paintball guns.

Yes you have to clean it. Unless you want your gun to become a lemon. Clean it after every game. On the WE open bolt, you can do everything in under twenty minutes, it's very simple.

As others have said, ALL auto pistols break fairly commonly; but if you were to go with a G18C, KSC is the better brand available.

Stick to semi auto pistols, it's rare for auto to ever give you an advantage over controlled semi fire, the recoil (while still "airsoft" recoil) is still more than enough to ruin a body shot at 75 feet.

Ksc are way more of a pain in the ass to find parts for keep in mind. The full auto is more of a holy fuck head down tactic more than anything. I have used it to my advantage in pistol games. Semi auto in my right hand and full auto in the left. Left to scare em, right to kill em. I have owned 2 we full auto glocks. A 23 and an 18. The 23 broke the first time i gamed it but i am pretty sure it was my fault. Thought i was max payne and leaped sideways while full auto. Got the kill but smoked the nozzle. I like the we glocks. They have issues but i like em. They are simpler than ksc imo.
