I take it you don't know how awful the G&G M14 is lol.

Well I know the G&G M14 are clones of the CA. Anyway I don't care since I have no intention of getting one.

Other way around actually, G&G came out first.... then I have no bloody idea why CA thought it would be a good idea to clone them.

+1 ..... G&G obviously made their own M14 first and then CA decided to clone theirs because maybe they thought G&G was cooler but the G&G M14 fails in terms of compatibility .... Mags for a G&G M14 mid-cap are 50$ each.

My wish list is an GR16 CRW Cannon , G3 SAS & FS51 .... but if i wanted to face reality,
i would simply scroll all the way down the page to check for clear softs lol. M14 & UMG !!!

....G&G M14 didn't fail in terms of compatibility. Most of their internals are v2/3, and incompatibility with the mags is an issue with other magazine manufacturers.

G&G took a chance making a gun that isn't just a copy of TM, their effort to innovate should be commended.

Besides, once the bugs are sorted out (mostly involves a Trigger Master), the G&G M14 is a good platform. The only persistent flaw is that ugly bite taken out of the magazine, but in exchange you get a mechbox that's almost impossible to crack, unlike TM's v7.

I still suspect TM designed their v7 with a significant likelihood of failure when set above 1 Joule.

I ran a TM M14 with stock shell at 450 FPS for an entire year (playing weekly.. none of this "YEA I RAN IT FOR A WHOLE YEAR... I ONLY WENT TO 2 GAMES THOUGH" crap)

Changed the internals... stock shell was fine (and this was before sorbo pads existed)

And people have ran on less power and resulted in broken mechboxes. Never said the failure rate was 100%. What's odd is that there are any broken v7 boxes at relative low powers after the success of the v3 and v6.
