Question gas efficiency problems WE 416 (888 series)

Hello peeps, im new to the form and am looking for some help. I have a WE 416 with upgrades installed, along with co2 mags for those cold games. I have run into gas problems with my mags and can't figure out why. I clean it, lube it along with usual mag maintenance. It's shooting about five to six rounds and calling it a day, this is per mag as well. I noticed that the bolt when firing will only travel the full way durning those few shots then it will only travel about a third of the way. just enough to reset the hammer and trigger. does anyone have a solution to this?

thanks in advance. -Q

What "Upgrades" do you have installed. May be that, or an issue with your mags.

it could be many things, not enough "kick" from the valve knocker, leaky nozzle, buffer/spring too heavy/strong, magazine gas valve not working properly.

A lot of those "upgrades" have detrimental effects, specially if not done right.

Also the Co2 mags have restrictions inside them: under equal conditions a Co2 mag delivers less energy than the propane mags. In cooler weather the Co2 may be a bit more stable than propane but not by much (those 12gr cartridges don't have enough volume)

Installing an NPAS will help with cycling properly by directing more gas to the action.

Using propane mags with a cold-weather friendly gas like MAPP or Nuprol.

There could be something broken too. Common problem would be a cracked nozzle.

sorry for the wait, been busy.
i believe i have found the problem, my npas was wonky so i messed around in a typical fashion and believe that i have found the issue and fixed it. upgrades installed are RA tech sai bolt along with new RA tech nozzle (magentic npas)
