Well, when I play skirmish... a SAW as almost no advantage but when I play real cap... it makes a huge difference 200rounds vs 30 rounds

that being said... the badass factor is also a great thing hehe

I did suffer as fuck after a day long carrying that beast as I'm only 5'6'' 140lbs

One of my saw gunners runs the MAG nutsack boxes... he has 3, only one of them fed properly out of the box. He has to use the same feed tube between the 3 mags.

I wasnt knocking your statement or anything i can see how in the milsim that your playing obviously your method wrks and wrks well.

Just key is what do you play more of is what dictates your kit and methods.

I personaly hardly get out anymore so any excuse to sling 2500 rnds sounds attractive. Same note im not excessive last i played i had every intention of shooting all my rnds, ony had oppertunity to shoot maybe 350 rnds.

All I'm saying is dont discount the effectiveness of running from mid caps, even if you are running a box... When it goes down if you have a couple mags you are still in the game

sure thing ! I always have at least 3-5 m4 mags strapped on me even tho I run a SAW with a box. Only downside is I have nowhere to put the empty box once I want to use my m4 mags lol.

I have run 4 different box mags for my M249

Mag nutsack, works well, havent had any issues, 100,000+ bbs
AD classic box mag, excelent mag, no issues 40,000+ bbs.
CA nutsack, excelent mag, 50,000+ bbs
CA box mag, crap, 3 didnt work out of box, gave up on them and went with the AD classic

if I had to pick one out of any of them it would be the AD classic, with the MAG being the second choice, CA nutsack being the third, they all work equally well, and all have the same reliablility but the AD classic holds more than the MAG, which holds more than the CA nutsack. when it comes to size however, the CA is superior to the MAG, but not by much, mostly in the ease of reloading. MAG has a small window you need a funnel or bb bottle to fill with, the CA has a larger door you can pour bbs in directly from the bag.

if you worry about reliability, carry half a dozen M4 mags as well, if your mag fails or runs dry you can quickly swap.
