Black Hole Airsoft Convention - August 2010

So it's that time of year again and the Black Hole convention is upon those of us in Tokyo. It's a lot of fun to attend and even better if you speak piss-poor Japanese so the locals can laugh at you which makes it easier to get freebies and be invited to large games as I found out today. Thanks for my Canadian charm (or lack there-of), I'll be attending one of the larger games hosted by ARMS Magazine out at UNION in Chiba. Three cheers for being friendly!

Anyways, on to the images!

Walther WA-2000 made by HSLD, Taiwan, and it's FREAKIN' heavy! 6kg!

The G-1 Glock Carbine Conversion Kit, also from HSLD Airsoft Products, Taiwan. Put in any Tokyo Marui or Maruzen Glock (except for the Glock 18C due to it's circular selector switch on the slide) and you're ready to rock out with a hot-ass carbine.

A new hi-cap magazine from HSLD Airsoft Peoducts, Taiwan. Instead of incessantly rolling a little spindle on the bottom of your mag, you simply pull a zip-line three times and it's winds the mag fully! Holes 400 rounds, but only currently being produced for M16 & variants

It's not airsoft, it's a model gun that THIS guy made himself. Yea, that's 100% custom made from chunks of steel and wood in his garage.

Do you see what I see? Yep, it's the auto-upright mag from the movie Equilibrium (Japanese title: "Revolution")

Top left black gun is from the movie Equilibrium, complete with mag-spikes

A Mini-Moscart launcher

And to think, only $250 for this hand-cannon

At the Tokyo Marui booth - this year they were still hesitant to speak to foreigners

They even had an auction going on.

This old bugger was buying up EVERYTHING he could during the auction. Fucker even out-bid me TWICE on a M14. That old asshole.... *grumble*

Now at the TOP Airsoft Co. booth with them showing off their new shell-ejecting Armalites (electric guns, not gas!)

The guns don't come in boxes, they come in carrying cases.
