Sights for GBBR, namely EOTech

I know, I know... this discussion has been opened again and again, but the answer is always changing it seems.

I want to know who CURRENTLY sells GBBR safe EOTech replicas. I know Hurricane is the safe bet, but they are hard to come by. Are there any other brands/retailers selling them that won't go off-the-rails after a few mags being put through them?

I heard Hero Outdoor sells some that are GBB safe; does this hold merit?

Any other spots selling them or am I S.O.L.?

P.S.: I am looking mainly for the 552 variant.

Thanks.

The TA ones hold their own under recoil, but can get washed out in the light.

Didn't you make this thread on Facebook?

Go to T.A. I got my 552 from them years ago and it still works perfectly.

All the "GBBR safe" ones I got had the same issue:

Under recoil, they would randomly turn off.
That is because the batteries would disconnector since they can slide in the same axis as the recoil...

XPS-style does not seem to have this problem.
But it's not a 552-style.

I did try to stretch the springs, but they where getting compressed again as they where too soft. Perhaps better springs...

Buy a real one.

Sometimes you can get a used real one cheaper than a new clone.

Just buy this one. I've had it on a we scar, and a kjw m4 and have owned it for about two years with no problems. A few of my friends own this one as well on their GBBR with no issues.

This is my third Eotech and my GBBR. the two first broke in the year. I got a Hurricane also because the glass was clearer. I plenty satisfied for the price. For sure I would like to get the real one but it's 250$ more, and I heard, even it's good quality it still can break during the first year and you have to ship back for warranty (A few month waiting I guess) before they ship it back to you. Not sure, but it was I heard.

if you find clone eotech at 200-300$, you're not looking in the right places.

No if your'e looking for a new Hurricane you'll pay more than a used EOTech.

If you just want a blocky device like you've seen in a video game you can get the $20 ornament but if you plan to use it then the real deal can't be beat.

I bought a used 552 for $250 and a 551 for alot less than that.

My Hurricanes were $175 each back in '07.

Got a 552 in black with great trades, red and IR reticle functions (which I have yet to test with my NOD) and supposedly GBBR safe for $45. I will be testing it out likely next weekend and will report my results.
