WW2 sale.com Warning scam artist.

Guys I order a uniform from WW2sale.com and got ripped off. They sent me the wrong size and will not do anything about it:

Order ID: 52756
Date Ordered: 27/04/2012

Me:(may16)

Hello I received my order to day! I am please with it, the stitching
is done very well. I only have 2 concerns:

The jacket is smaller then the sizing chart says on the website. It's
a 50 chest not a 52. I've had it checked by a tailor to make sure.
Could I've gotten a XL not a XXL?

One of the mag pouches seems to be alot older then the other and it
has one of the catches broken.

I can send pictures if you want them.

Thanks

Reply from them: (may 16)

If you want a decent ww2 uniform, buy only from At the front or WPG.
Cost more but the quality and service is there.

Chinese shops are notorious for having wrong sizes. As SHaKaL said, WPG, At The Front, there are others, will cost more but quality wise can't be beat.

I'm guessing you paid by credit card: contact your CC issuer. Most likely they can get you a refund.

I had a similar problem with Spearhead Militaria. They sent me the Austraian uniform instead of the Canadian Battle Dress. They eventually sent me the right uniform. It's a bit small (close enough that a little weight loss and it'll be fine) even though I stated clearly that I wanted it one size up. I made the mistake of giving them my real measurements. I'd say the answer is to lie about the size you need. I still have the Ausie uniform.

Personnaly I got a satisfying service from spearhead militaria, when I got my Canadian Battle Dress last year. Got what I paid for, good pricing... I ordered using their chart.

So... 52 inches at one factory equals 50 inches at another factory?

Or did you order a XXL and get an XL? If that's the case, and XXL is supposed to be 52 inches why does the factory they use use a different sizing chart? I'm confused.

They say they're custom made, so how could any error that large be acceptable? when did metric inches and imperial inches become different? (I know there aren't inches in the metric system :P)

Hurley895, sorry to here about your crap experience.

It is best to avoid WW2 vendors that offer Allgemeine SS Tuxedos as well as "Fantasy" items such as USMC Camouflage M42 Jump Suits. Soon as you see a vendor offering this type of nonsense it is best to take a pass.

$162.59 for an Iffy looking US Tanker Jacket Repro? WTF?

Interesting, especially since the sizing offered is for Men.

Comes in size 52R too.
