Limited external upgrades, dont get me wrong, there are still a quiet a few addons and accessories out there to give your Aug a little more spice. There are just not as many as there would be for an armalite or an AK.
Limited battery space, from what I understand the spacing for battery storage in the aug is limited, possibly limiting the user to mini batteries only. Now I am not entirely sure on the topic but there maybe a way to house a larger battery but I cannot envision it simply going off my memory right now. If I am wrong on the subject someone please correct me. It looks like it was beat with the ugly stick and then worked over by the jesus-what-the-fuck-is-that stick.

Now although my lists are thin, I believe I have provided you with enough details to make your own decision.
Fixed.

Go to a game and try them out (brand doesn't matter). You might find that some of them do not feel comfortable.

Like for me, i love the P90 but i can't stand using one, it feels wierd.

Personally i would always go with an AR first, its simply a better choice for customization.

A good wood/steel AK would be nice too.

AUG... err fugly.

Agreed. I tried to field an AUG for a game and didn't last 2 skirmishes. Went back to an armalite pretty quick. More recently, I've happily fielded my TM AK spetsnaz (short with no stock) outdoors not just indoors.

Thank you to all for the advice.

I held the AUG today and it felt awesome.

Hugged my shoulder perfectly.

If someones gonna make a sexual joke about that, it had better be creative.

Anyways, I realize the AUG is ugly as the shit I'm about to take, but I have been painting for years, and should be able to improve the situation somewhat.

I was thinking tiger stripe. Fairly un-subtle ones, at that.

I'll post pics in a few days.

About age verification, I'm getting on it, no worries.

I haven't gamed in a while since school got crazy, and I JUST got my M1, allowing me to get age verified, as I have been informed (correctly?) that health cards don't cut it anymore.

3 questions:

1) Where do I find a BB bastard dealer?

2) Who sells upgraded internals for the AUG?

3) Do I post pics of the painted AUG here, or in a specific paint thread?

Cheers,

-ethan.

1.First we need to know where in Canada you live.

2. Im not sure what you mean, whether you want an FTK or just some springs.
FTK, you can get them at Airsoft Parts.ca and springs there too.

3. IF you like, or the painted gun thread, just dont make a new thread

hope this helps

1) Army Issue in Port Credit is the only local Bastard that I know in that area, he is also an AV rep so you can get those two things done at the same time.

2) Since those aren't really restricted parts or anything you can get them from anywhere, redwolf, ehobby, airsoft extreme, the war store, airsoftparts, etc. However keep in mind that airsoft parts you can pretty much just do a pickup

I would probably go with Prometheus, Mad Bull, or Modify. Just pick a spring that will get the FPS that you want. Around 380 FPS is probably what you should be aiming for. Remember 400 FPS is a limit not a goal.

I think its cool looking, but not 'pretty'.

A 1911 is pretty.

A Model 500 is pretty.

An SVD is pretty.

A chrome m14 is fucking gorgeous.

An AUG is a...shit, that's an assault rifle?

Neat.

Just bought the AUG.

Its amazing, and shoots very well.

However I am having a ton of difficulty sighting in the scope.

This is the model with the built in scope by the way/

Can someone walk me through it please?

It shoots about 3 inches low from 8 meters. Very consistently.

The grouping is tiny, but its in the wrong place.

I turned the dial for "Height" and nothing.

Help?

You're not going to get it sighted in with a built in scope because you're too close at 26feet. The scope is above the barrel so it's converging past 26feet. With a rail mounted scope you could always shim to point down if it's adjusted to the max. Built in scopes...sorry you'll have to simply remember to aim higher when inside 26 feet.

Whos "CanadianMFouuuuuuOW wait...I saw one of his posts...That was just a big troll fest now wasn't he? Anyway.

Wow...You have a SWEET line-up of guns you could buy...To be honest, I would pick ALL of them...But, is the JG M4 plastic w/ plastic gearbox or metal? Because if plastic, just keep it out of your options in compare with the G&G and the TM. I am not a big fan of AK's... depends on what they are though, (make/look feel, and appearence...Overall not my favorite gun)...But I like TM's and I have tryed the Bull-Up...Well, I used to own it. All in all, they all give pretty god quality (if the JG is metal), good durability, good fps and rpm. I would go with the...Well wait...Damn...I am leaning towards the Bullup...In my opinion, better accuracy? But I think the AK has a higher rate of fire...Meh, I used both, I like both, you choose.
