I guess so! My buddy who sells airsoft guns brought one in for show and tell on sat, and was bought by another player 3 hours later. I'm tellin you this gun was solid, give it a few months for the GBBRs to work their minor quirks out, and these guns will be hot.

People are so snobby about their guns... really it's about the game not having a good looking gun. But that's just my two cents.
Airsoft is all about simulation, unlike paintball.

If you don't get that, then start researching.

I think your an idiot if you actually believe you can play in feilds behind your house just cuz its clear. And I am not a snob about the way my gun looks, I just have to have the most bad ass killing machine for my merc look thats all.

Just a thought.. but if you bought this gun, wouldnt you first start looking for a more reinforced lower receiver anyways?... just a thought

You would be looking for a long, loooooong time.

The real steel SCAR has a polymer lower. All airsoft version have a polymer/plastic lower too. G&G's nylon composite is one of the strongest you can find in airsoft guns, so no.

Anyway, no one sells only SCAR lowers, except maybe G&G directly... but then the only difference would be the color, not the strenght or whatever, so in my opinion the only suitable option would be our dear friend Krylon.

actually making plastic clear also makes it brittle.
a colored piece of plastic is a lot more flexible than a clear piece of plastic, which is why you hear so many horror stories about how clear receivers crack easily, but almost none about how colored plastic ones do with the same usage.

WTFness of that statement aside (this is why we don't let kids have access to airsoft), that may also be why you don't see a difference. You should stick to CT/Warmart clear guns. Maybe paintball.

For all the folks who fear "clear plastic", what colour lenses do your goggles have? Solid or clear?

We have a bunch of the clear lower guns out a the last game. It's a bit jarring in the safe zone, but when the game is on it's the last thing you'd notice.

Fine, I'll accept clear receivers if they are made of ANSI z87.1 plastic. Of course it would be retardedly expensive, but eeh.

"watch your back all the time" are you serious? why would anyone have to watch their back for having a full black airsoft gun? gtfo
