Umm, actualy, that won't work. Unless its only parts and non-restricted items, they won't let you thru the border with any airsoft guns. There is a list of restricted and non-restricted items in the FAQ's I believe.
Sorry to burst your bubble. Now if you intend on playing down there, there is a pile of WW2 airsoft Milsim's going on all the time. Especialy in Washington. |

I am hoping to make it out to on of the WW2 themed games out in the US this summer, I want to get some good use out of my outfit.
Getting a game set up in Canada would be nice though, that way I can use my own gun instead of ‘renting’ one. Quote:

Im reviving this thread because i want to get into this, and it seems that ever since mid 2009, EVERYTHING WW2 airsoft around this region (BC and Washington) has stopped completely. Battlesim is gone, and im not sure if there is any events going on anymore. But i will still get my kit together, find an M1 Garand, and wait to kick Jerry butt! So i hope i get some replys to help my confused state on whats happening in the world of airsoft. Thanks.

I would highly suggest to keep trying to organize a group to get WWII airsofting going. Our group here in Ontario does living history events, WWII Gun shoots, and we were involved in a Blank Firing re-enactment this summer. All are very cool and some of us have caught the real steel bug but all of us are still involved airsoft. Becuase there is nothing like it! Blank firing is very cool but you have no idea if you've been shot or you actually made it to your objective. With airsoft, you may not have the bang, but there is no doubt whether or not if you made it.
If you could combine the two, airsoft and the bang and smoke of blank firing, I would be a happy man! |

yea, i believe BC is a perfect place to host games, since it has lots of trees a mountains, maybe we could try to do a battle of the bulge scenario, we just need a field.

I am planning to host an event at our field east of Calgary at the beginning of June, keep an eye out for news on that. I'll post more info in this thread as well.

Depends on where you are. There are groups in Quebec and Ontario, bigger than ever. Now we are trying to mix airsoft with blank firing and so far it works out great.

There are still many of us involved with the WW2 aspect of airsoft. I suggest if you have an interest to forge ahead with it. It can be a satisfying hobby.
