Yeah, it sucks. I find on the TM magazines, the moment I can't get liquid propane to spew from the valves... it's time for a new tank.

Hmm, well I went to play outdoors for the first time ever with the Glock, it was quite hot out.
I couldnt get a single mag to fire properly without draining the magazine of maybe half the tank of gas. I could understand this if I didnt have an upgraded hammer spring.... But I do. I have a 150% guarder hammer spring installed, so I cant see why it either wont cycle, or it will have that typical failed shot and hiss untill I recock it.... Is this typical, im using propane. None of my other weapons had a problem that day, just my TM.

Guarder hammer springs have a habit of doing this - they lose their strength as time goes. That, or you have a major issue with your piston and piston head, or your recoil spring being too strong.

Bah ive got no idea, the glock is like...3 months old?
Recoil and hammer spring are 150%... piston and piston head are the airsoft surgeon ones. Indoors I get amazing gas efficiency around 40 shots per fill. Outdoors I have to bleed propane to get it to cycle and it works fine after that. Is there anyway to test to find out what is wrong?

Weird. The Airsoft Surgeon nozzle and piston head were one of the better ones I had - they functioned with CO2.
My money is purely on your hammer spring being the issue - it is exhibiting all the signs a TM with a stock hammer spring does when faced with more pressure than the gun was designed for. |

is there a stronger hammer spring then the guarder one that you would recommend?

Well I wouldn't say stronger is your issue... the Guarder one actually wears down over time. A different brand, such as the Shooter's design that Eluder talks about, stays at 150% consistently.

Anyone have experience with the guarder steel slide for the tm glock 26? I have never had a steel slide before so I am wondering if they're a huge pain in the ass and not worth the trouble.

Took me a ridiculous amount of time to get one working on a KJW. Your mileage will vary on a TM.

Steel is super heavy so dialing in the recoil spring and gas flow is a huge pain.

Hi guys,
I have a Tm G17 Custom for a couple of months. I shoot around 5000bb throught it with duster gaz. And has expected the front post and the back post explode in it.     I did the MAybeStopCalling Front Screw Post Fix for TM Glock Pistols, and I upgrade my gun to work with propane. It seems to hold and work.   I cut the nail shorter after I took those pictures, flush to the frame Ill probably change the frame in the futur but for now it work. Thanks for the fix |

As a note you will want to use a pin/nail with a larger radius - The smaller ones put a lot more pressure on the material rather than spreading it out.

I had the same feeling but because I was not to sure of what I was doing I only drilling the frame.
Ill see how long it last. If I have to change the frame because of it, next time Ill drill the G17-18 part. thanks for the feedback Quote:
