That's good, consider yourself fortunate. Others in the USA and in Canada cannot say the same.
On one of the USA WW2 airsoft boards one guy got his VFC B.A.R from evike and the stock was barely attached and had writing on it even though he paid full price for a BNIB. PS: Finally picked up the VFC B.A.R carry handle and bi pod today. |

What the hell. Do you know if they exchanged it for him or anything?
I'd love to see a pic of it with a bipod and handle attached. I might actually be ordering it from ACMgear instead because it's currently $51 less but apparently Evike's price for the thing keeps changing. We'll see what the final prices are once it gets in stock. I'll post pics of the WE 1911 I got today once the cameras charged....damn that thing looks real, and that's coming from someone who has handled and fired the real thing. Hopefully there's no performance problems, wont know until I get some more gas. |

Nice, make sure you post some new pics then!
I just bought a custom made AEG m1 carbine of someone from ww2aa. Started off as an m14 and somehow was turned into a carbine even though the m14 is much larger, from the pictures everything looks right on it though. Will update when I get it in my hands. Payed $80 for the body and $80 for the gearbox....$160 for a gun that otherwise would've costed me around $500 in addition to gas and 8mm bbs. Nice deal or what? |

Got me a "Capt. Miller" helmet, plus a canteen and a couple M1A1 mag pouches...
Waiting to get a couple 1916 model left-handed holsters from Pacific Canvas and Leather for my 1911, plus some canvas and leather mag pouches.

Sure looks like Capt John Miller from 2nd Rangers to me (Saving Private Ryan).

Sorry, no specific impression. I chose the Miller because it looked cool and didn't cost that much more than a plain one. Since I'm the only one up here sporting WWII gear, I'd feel silly in a full impression load-out. This will be more of a "feel". My baggiest, wide-legged khaki cargo pants, khaki or OD cotton shirt with epaulets, and either a cotton canvas "work" jacket, or the pictured leather (which is an Indiana Jones repro) depending on the weather. Also, a full reproduction impression is expensive, since I would have been lured into a paratrooper load-out.
Once it's all together and fielded in a few months, there will be pictures and hopefully it all makes sense then. P.S. Jeff, do you still have wood kits for my M1A1 in stock? My procurement officer and I have been slacking on that. Only finally ordered extra mags for it yeaterday, and it still hasn't been converted to Deans yet.

I was also a little inspired to try Aldo Raine from his speech at the beginning of "Inglorious Basterds", but liked a helmeted combat look better. But maybe if I ever get an MP40, I'll do Aldo in his "partisan" outfit, an OSS thing. Which would prevent me buying everything for a fallschirmjager impression.
